Helping you create calm, confidence and meaningful change
Hello, I’m a fully qualified Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist based in on the Surrey/ West Sussex border. I specialise in helping people who feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in unhelpful patterns or simply not themselves.
If you’re visiting this page, you may be searching for more clarity, calmness, confidence or emotional freedom.
My role is to guide you toward those changes using an approach that is gentle, grounded in evidence, and carefully tailored to your needs.
A Bit More About Me
People often appreciate knowing the person behind the therapist, so here’s a little more about my journey:
I have a deep passion for psychology, personal growth, and understanding the intricacies of the human mind.
With a calm, patient, and curious nature, I embrace these traits as the foundation of my practice.
I am a firm believer that small, consistent changes pave the way for remarkable life transformations.
In my free time, I find joy in reading, practicing mindfulness, exploring creative hobbies, and cherishing family moments.
Having faced challenges and moments of feeling stuck myself, I know what it means to encounter the toughest times. This empathy fuels my commitment to assist others in moving forward in ways that feel safe, empowering, and absolutely achievable.
In the 1980s, after completing school, I joined the Royal Marines, fulfilling a childhood dream of serving my country. However, I soon realised that the path of conflict wasn’t my true calling.
Afterward, I proudly served in the Police in Sussex, where I experienced the joy of serving the public. Unfortunately, a life-altering accident in 1997 resulted in the fracturing of my lower spine, leading to my medical retirement. Despite the challenges, this role was immensely fulfilling, cementing my dedication to the community and service.
You can only imagine the dark times that accompanied such a life-changing injury.
I share my story not to seek attention or stand out, but to illustrate that I understand how low life can bring us and, most importantly, how resilience and determination enable us to rise stronger from those shadows.

Why I Do This Work
I come from a background of service, from military, emergency services and doing charitable work I believe that the best we can do is to help others. I’ve always been interested in how the mind woirk and why we do the things we do.
From years of working with clients, I’ve seen how anxiety, stress and low confidence can quietly shape someone’s life — limiting opportunities, holding back potential, and creating unnecessary suffering.
I became a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist because I believe:
People can change their patterns of thinking.
The mind and body respond powerfully to the right tools.
Evidence-based techniques should be accessible, supportive and personalised.
You deserve to feel calm, capable and connected to who you truly are.
Seeing clients transform — often in ways they didn’t think were possible — is why I’m deeply committed to this work.
